WYCHWOOD

This band has one local member, Matt Flower who is from Astwood Bank, REDDITCH.

 

An established group of talented local musicians from the ‘Woods of the Wicce’ (aka Warwickshire & Worcestershire). Wychwood is an electro-acoustic band. " Wychwood write and play original material and also our own arrangements of traditional and popular songs. Our style is not folk, not pop and not rock, but a fusion of all three with just a dash of jazz."

QUILL

Guitarist LEE EVANS is from Cookhill and now lives in Alcester He also features under the acoustic/solo genre ..... he is also in The Bev Bevan Band, featured under the melodic/pop genre.

Anyone seeing and hearing Quill in concert will wonder at the magic of the performance! Quill has developed a unique musical style that has captured many varied influences, plying Celtic folk hued Fleetwood Mac-ish rock before the Corrs were invented

KEEP ME POSTED

Formed in the Spring of 2018, Keep Me Posted began with locals ....

Céline Dommart and Cris Tolley

 

Playing covers of songs by artists such as Gillian Welch, Bob Dylan and Alison Krauss. The duo featured tight harmonies backed up by acoustic guitar and bass.

By the end of the year, the duo had expanded to a quartet featuring Gretsch Drums/Dream Cymbals, Rob Payne on drums and Kate McLaren adding acoustic guitar and a third vocal harmony. Cris switched to electric guitar and the band are now playing mostly original songs.
