With lyrics covering a range of topics from growing up and losing friends to wasting weekends playing Call of Duty, Lying For Friends have something to which everyone can relate.
LFF began in earnest sometime in the mid-2010s when guitarist/vocalist Joe
enlisted bassist/vocalist Mike Green and drummer Matt Herman.
On their first EP, Get Rich or Die Lying, the band delivered a classic pop-punk sound, reminiscent of early Blink 182 / Sum 41. The two singles from the EP received considerable praise, including air-play on the BBC Introducing show on BBC WM. Their follow-up, Lucky to Amount to Zero, saw the band mature, experimenting with different sounds including heavier riffs, more poppy hooks and synths.
The lead single from the EP, Touchdown, combined both these factors and received radio play on BBC Introducing. In 2019,
They are currently working on their first full-length album, which is due to be released in 2022.

THE CRAVATS
Sax-riddled dada punk combo, The Cravats, emerged from REDDITCH New Town in the late 70s.
Anyone who has had even a vague love of punk music over the last 35 years will know The Cravats or, at least, be aware of their existence.
Championed by John Peel with four sessions, releases on Small Wonder and Crass; the sax-riddled, bass-laden weirdness, the humour, the love of Dada and the infamous Redditch ‘Dustbin of Sound'.
Still going strong since the 1977 ! but sadly based in Brighton / Hove now ....hopefully they will visit us in the near future

Project Revise are 3-piece punk rock band from Redditch, Worcestershire, UK.
They're all about the old-school catchy choruses and big riffs!
The band's debut E.P 'Songs That Sound Like Songs' was released in December 2017. The band supported Hopeless Records bands Story Untold & Between You & Me in 2019, followed by The Bottom Line! Project Revise performed a live session for BBC Introducing, which was broadcast in January 2019.

This band was born with Leigh Vile and Sazzy Spazzy from the embers of Scrotum and the Bation Unit. Scrotum had run its course and a new balls park was needed to make a mess in.
Saz & Leigh write most of the songs, and we have no structure coz we don't need no stinking structure!!
